Hard-Boiled Eggs

Add ½ teaspoon of baking soda when boiling eggs. The shells will slide right off when you go to peel them!

Instant Cookie Dough

Add ½ cup of oil and two eggs to any boxed cake mix and you’ll have cookie dough.

Ice Cream

You can make homemade ice cream with just two ingredients. Simply whip heavy cream and cream of coconut together until it’s fluffy and then freeze overnight!

White Rice

Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the boiling water before you put the rice in the pot and your rice will be extra fluffy!

When Frying

Sprinkle salt in your pan to prevent the oil from splattering while you fry or sautee.

Perfect Bacon

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a cookie sheet with tin foil. Place your bacon on the cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes. Flip once at six minutes for perfect bacon!

Grilled Cheese

Cook grilled cheese sandwiches between two baking sheets. The bread will be nice and crispy while the inside will be gooey. Not to mention, you’ll be able to bake eight sandwiches at once.

Bake your cookies in a muffin tin. They’ll stay soft and fluffy and won’t spread out into each other.

Pizza Dough

You can make homemade pizza dough with just two ingredients. One cup of greek yogurt and one cup of self-rising flour will yield pizza dough.

If you’re making a large batch of baked potatoes, like on Thanksgiving, run the potatoes through your dishwasher instead of hand washing them all.

BBQ Kabobs

Cook kabobs with wooden or bamboo skewers. Metal skewers heat up during cooking and will heat your meat from the inside out, drying it out.

Cracking Eggs

If you crack an egg and some of the shell lands in your meal, don't panic. Wet your finger and place it next to the rogue eggshell.

Decorating Cookies

Fill a syringe with frosting to expertly decorate cookies and cakes.

Boiling Water

Place a wooden spoon across the top of your pot. The spoon will prevent the water from boiling over.

Scrambled Eggs

Add cornstarch to your eggs to make them creamier. If you love your eggs a bit runnier, this hack will help!

Cutting Cakes

If you have to evenly slice a cake, cheesecake or something similar, use a piece of unscented dental floss. Hold each end of a long piece of floss, slide the floss down through the cake to the bottom and you’re in business.

Healthy Cookies

To bake a tasty treat without all the guilt substitute one egg for one banana and one cup of butter for a cup of applesauce, or one cup of greek yogurt!

Juicing Fruits

If you need juice from a lemon, microwave the lemon for 15 seconds first. You’ll get double the amount of juice if you do.
